Last weekend I photographed over 1200 tombstones in the old part of section 1 (right behind the church) and section 2 & 3. This covers most or all of the original Weaver Mennonite Cemetery which later grew into the public Richland Cemetery.
I have reviewed all of the section 1 photos and made the appropriate additions and corrections to my family file. The photos are being given to Diann Olsen of the Cambria County Rootsweb site to transcribe and place on that webpage. This weekend I will be joining Diann, Lynn and others to complete photographing Headricks Cemetery.

I know for a FACT that my grandmother Leah Woikoski is buried in the Richland Cemetery. We are unable to locate the flat grave marker at this time. We believe that it has covered over with dirt and grass over the years. Many in the family including myself have at one time or another seen the grave stone. I was able to locate her name in one of the burial record books with the help of the caretaker there. Her name was mispelled Wikoski. If anyone knows how I might locate the grave location, please contact me. For instance, who might have set the stone? Who would the funeral director probably have been. Would they have records? I know also that the marker was not placed until the 1960's. She died Dec.31,1923 and was buried Jan. 3, 1924.My mother was only 23 months old at the time. Brian, thanks for your work, which I found on rootsweb. I have some articles on George Miller of Richland Township, Cambria County. I hope you can tell me if he (an inventor I am researching) is the one in your tree. He built a compressed air car in 1984. If you want the articles please contact me. He's the right age to be the son of Howard and Lizzie. Acc. to the 1930 census he was born abt Apr 1926. Thanks!

Love your website! I was wondering if you have any information regarding Elizabeth Reighard's marrage to Alvin Soles. She is the daughter of Jacob Reighard from PA. They moved to Ohio. Thank you so much for the work you do, I was born in Johnstown,Pa and have many relatives still living there, unfortunately they are seniors as I am now and unable to visit cemeteries as we used to when we were children, at every birthday, anniversary or Holiday, there would be a fresh flower arrangement or plant to let them know we hadn't forgotten them. I'm especially looking forward to the photo's of Headrick Cemetery, where so many of my relatives are.
